Yummy sundae card

This card was made using cricut sweet treats cartridge. I love all the layers this cart has and the fact that the size is different than the normal 4x6 or 5.7--fun fun fun! (It is really tall and narrow). I glittered the cherry and sprinkles, the candles on the 30 and the highlight on the sundae dish. I added some cute red gems on the embroidery thread on the side of the card that look sort of like cherries. I forget where the photo corners are from.

All occasion card

This is one of my all time favorite cards from the cricut wild card cart (pg 32 cut @ 3-3/4")! I used patterned paper for the for the outside liner and solid card stock for the inside liner of the card. The circles used for closing the card are the "icon" mode on that page; inserted brads through them and attached embroidery thread. Printed paper is from best of Brenda Walton stack and solid is recollections.
The envie with the liner. I just love how I was able to line up the paper so the daffodil would show right in the middle. The printed paper again is best of brenda walton and the solid white is from stash. It has embossed swirls in it.

tinkerbell card

I made this card for my grand daughters 5th birthday. Her current fave is tinkerbell and the color green so this is what I came up with. Cricut cart tinkerbell for tink and mushroom. Tinks eyes were colored in--they cut way to small at 6".
Butterflies are an svg file I created as is the border on the on the background paper. Used teeny tiny aqua flat back pearls on the right hand side of card; stickles down the center of butterflies; tim holtz tea dye ink on edges.
Submitted this to Frosted Designs for the aqua, lime green, brown challenge.

Where in the world did March go!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this has been a crazy, busy month for me! The next few months will also be a whirlwind. I hope to get to all the blogs that I love to visit so much and get caught up on all the fantastic happenings that I know all of you have been up to! I miss visiting everyone!
I didn't get a chance to do any layouts in the last three weeks but had to squeeze in some gifts and softball projects. Here are two of my bigger projects wrapped into one post.
This first project I just finished is a paperbag album for my neighbor who is having a baby boy within the next month. Each month has a coordinating journaling tag that tucks away behind the photo mat. We all know how busy that first year is and I thought how wonderful it would be for her to have a little book all ready for a picture each month. They grow and change so fast! Her shower was this past weekend and she adored this little book. I made a similiar one for a baby girl last year, but like this one much better!

Peter from the Family Guy

My husband loves the Family Guy and I always have such a hard time making male cards. I found this image online and converted it to an svg and pop dotted it. Then I thought how cute would it be for Brian to serve him a cupcake so I converted Brian also to an svg. The cupcake is a sticker I had. The birthday banner is cut from celebrations cart.

more Christmas cards

These are some quick cards I did to mail with Christmas goodies. All three images are from The Graphics Fairy. All the card bases were cut using A Child's Year cricut cart.
On this first card I used snow dots embossing folder on the green background paper; Martha Stewart doily lace border punch, gold flat back pearls; ribbon from stash and lots of inking and doodling.

This one I used flat back pearls, skittles, fiskars corner punch, ribbon, inking and doodling

This last one is just skittles, ribbon, inking and doodling
