Cute lil babies

My daughter wanted some babies to put on her Early Childhood Development poster she was doing on pregnancy and I found these cute little baby svg files online and cleaned them up a bit to cut. I put stickles on the cute little hair bows, cuttlebug textile embossing folder on the girls shirt, chalk for the cheeks and a little inking and doodling. They looked so adorable on her poster.

Peter from the Family Guy

My husband loves the Family Guy and I always have such a hard time making male cards. I found this image online and converted it to an svg and pop dotted it. Then I thought how cute would it be for Brian to serve him a cupcake so I converted Brian also to an svg. The cupcake is a sticker I had. The birthday banner is cut from celebrations cart.

more Christmas cards

These are some quick cards I did to mail with Christmas goodies. All three images are from The Graphics Fairy. All the card bases were cut using A Child's Year cricut cart.
On this first card I used snow dots embossing folder on the green background paper; Martha Stewart doily lace border punch, gold flat back pearls; ribbon from stash and lots of inking and doodling.

This one I used flat back pearls, skittles, fiskars corner punch, ribbon, inking and doodling

This last one is just skittles, ribbon, inking and doodling

first day of school-sous 11/27 challenge

This is for Stuck on U Sketches 11/27 sketch challenge. The picture, which is not in very good lighting, is of my oldest daughter back in the 80's and when I saw this picture and the butterflies on the sketch I thought it would be perfect because she looks so nervous in the picture like she has butterflies in her stomach! The font is sizzix alpha clips. Cuttlebug embossing folders script and swiss dots, lots of inking and doodling.

close-up of the butterfly- I used walk in my garden cricut cartridge cut @ 2" black base on shadow and then patterned paper on regular. Inked, doodled and added a couple skittles.

Charming

This is for the sketch challenge this week over at http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/2009/11/november-13-challenge.html.

Title is from storybook cricut cartridge cut @ 1-1/2" except the "C" was cut @ 2". I also cut the swirl from storybook and added a stem then ran it through cuttlebug tiny mosaic folder (can't tell in the picture).
The photo corner in the top right is an svg also run through tiny mosaic embossing folder.
Inked all edges first with black then with tim holtz tea dye inks and roughed up the edges with scissors.
The little diamond embellishments below the photo were silver brads that I colored with a black sharpie and then covered with black stickles. Tfl and have a great day.

I tore a hole in the paper and added a cute little heart charm.

Gift bag and purse

I made a cute little purse and gift bag for mom's presents. The purse is from tags, bags, boxes and more cricut cartridge. I made the flower from a tutorial that Nanne over at www.stuckonusketches.blogspot.com has a tuturial on. The flower turned out so beautiful! Next I cut a white purse flap and embossed it with the cuttlebug textile embossing folder. Added a couple of ribbon sprays to the flower and a button.

For the gift bag I cut out the front and back from the candy bag on cricut doodlecharms cart. The white is on shadow and then the printed bag cut on regular (shift key) for just the bag portion. I used the extra piece from the handle cutout for the pocket on the bag front, trimmed it with decorative scissors. I embossed it with textile embossing folder and adhered it to the bag with pop dots. I made the cute little tag from doodlecharms also. The bag front and back are attached to a brown paper lunch bag that I cut down to size. Added a ribbon and lots of inking. Tfl

Baby's First Year Paperbag Album

I made this to go with the diaper cake and stork bundle of diapers. I used three paperbags for this album. There are three bag openings for little notes or keepsakes. I remember how busy things were when I had a new baby so I thought maybe she would like this all ready for pictures each month. Each month has a pull out tag for journaling and I tried to make it match the theme of the month. I loved doing this little album and it is going to be hard to part with. Hope you enjoy looking at it. If you have specific questions, leave me a comment as there are too many details and carts to list. You can click on the pictures for a bigger view.

Did a page for the baby shower.

The journaling tag- I welded a shape to give her longer hair.

This next one (January) is the card feature on jots and thought it would be cute to open and put a photo inside. This pulls out of the first bag opening.
